Nykredit Invest Aarhus City Half marathon

The coming summer Aarhus once again set the scene for a new annual sport event for all types of runners. On the 3rd of June Nykredit Invest Aarhus City Half marathon welcomes up to 8.000 par-ticipants to an exciting race on a completely enclosed route in the town centre of Aarhus.

The race is inspired by the famous marathons in Berlin, London, Paris and Rome and leads the run-ners past some of Aarhus' largest and most beautiful sights.

"The city's new major annual sport event will lead runners from all over Europe past some of the best sights Aarhus has to offer. It will be the first time that we open up the city to an event this big.
The new half marathon event will ensure Aarhus as an active and exciting city of sports," says the alderman Marc Perera Christensen.

Along the route's 21,097 km hopefully thousands of enthusiastic spectators will cheer for the run-ners and join the festivity in the city’s many street events
